The Pan Afrikan People's Arkestra - Live in NYC
The Pan Afrikan People’s Arkestra is a Jazz band originally formed in 1961, from the Los Angeles Area. My friend Imani has a show series called Black Science Fiction and she collaborated with the current bandleader and it’s Drummer, Mekela Session to bring the band to New York City. I was contacted by them to put together a cover for a cassette tape release of the recording from that concert, in 2023.
